Qualifications

• 8+ years in software or data engineering with a strong AWS focus.
• Experience migrating cloud data platforms in production enterprise or healthcare environments.
• Proven ability to select AWS data services to meet reporting needs.
• Experience delivering reporting solutions for non-technical users.
• Hands-on AWS data services exposure: S3, Athena, Glue, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift, OpenSearch, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Strong SQL for relational layers over XML/JSON data.

Responsibilities

• Lead healthcare data platform modernization efforts.
• Design and implement AWS data architecture for scalable reporting.
• Evaluate AWS data strategies and storage options (S3+Athena, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift, OpenSearch).
• Build reporting/query layers for SQL-based access by business users.
• Architect XML object-store migration to AWS data platform.
• Maintain AWS data catalog, schemas, and metadata for discoverability.
• Optimize query performance and cost across AWS services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into data models.
• Work with C#/.NET backend to ensure data flow from EDI pipelines.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with CodePipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy and IaC with CDK/CloudFormation/Terraform.
