Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Associate in Asset & Wealth Management Audits to support its Assurance practice. The role targets auditors with strong external audit experience in WM assets such as investment management, hedge funds, and mutual funds.

The position is a 5-month remote contract with potential extension or full-time conversion based on performance and business needs. Prior Big 4 or equivalent WM audit experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of external audit experience.
• Significant experience auditing Asset & Wealth Management clients.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB standards.
• Experience participating in or leading audit engagement teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support external audit engagements for Asset & Wealth Management clients.
• Evaluate financial statements and disclosures per US GAAP/GAAS/PCAOB requirements.
• Identify and document financial reporting and audit risks.
• Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures, and control evaluations.
• Collaborate with engagement teams to deliver high-quality audit services.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
• Assist with planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements.
• Analyze complex accounting matters in asset management.
• Leverage data analytics tools to improve audit efficiency.
• Work with large datasets and data visualization for insights.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and service delivery.
