Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Associate in Asset & Wealth Management Audits to support external audit engagements for the Asset & Wealth Management sector, including investment management, private equity, hedge funds, mutual funds, and related financial services organizations. This 5-month contract is 100% remote with potential for extension or full-time conversion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years external audit experience.
• Significant experience auditing Asset & Wealth Management clients.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support external audit engagements for clients within the Asset & Wealth Management sector.
• Evaluate financial statements and disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess, and document financial reporting and audit risks.
• Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures, and control evaluations across various audit areas.
• Collaborate with engagement teams to deliver high-quality audit services and meet client deadlines.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and audit observations to internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Assist with the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements.
• Analyze complex accounting and financial reporting matters relevant to the investment management industry.
• Leverage technology, automation, and data analytics tools to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work with large datasets and utilize data visualization and reporting tools to provide meaningful insights.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
