Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an experienced Associate in Asset & Wealth Management Audits for a 5-month remote contract within its Assurance practice. Ideal for auditors with external audit experience in investment management, private equity, hedge funds, mutual funds, and related financial services.

Candidates with Big 4 public accounting experience will be given top consideration, with strong consideration for other public accounting firms with AWM audit backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years external audit experience.
• Significant experience auditing Asset & Wealth Management clients.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.
• Experience leading or participating in audit engagement teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support external audit engagements for AWM clients.
• Evaluate financial statements and disclosures per US GAAP/GAAS.
• Identify and document financial reporting and audit risks.
• Perform substantive testing, analytics, and control evaluations.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality audit services.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Assist with planning, execution, and completion of audits.
• Analyze complex accounting matters in investment management.
• Leverage audit automation and data analytics to improve efficiency.
• Work with large datasets and provide meaningful insights.
• Build strong client relationships and service delivery.
