Jobgether is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive - Reinsurance (AVP/VP) based in the United States. The role drives growth in the Americas, originating and closing reinsurance and retrocession deals with brokers, cedents, and market partners.

You will shape parametric risk solutions, translate client needs into tailored structures, and own the full sales cycle while collaborating with underwriting and modelling teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in reinsurance in BD/broking/underwriting.
• Proven track record closing reinsurance with cedents/brokers.
• Strong knowledge of treaty/facultative reinsurance and renewal cycle.
• Established US reinsurance broker/cedent network.
• Entrepreneurial, client-focused and growth-driven.

Responsibilities

• Originate, structure, and close new reinsurance and retrocession deals.
• Build a qualified pipeline across cedents, segments and Nat Cat perils.
• Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline reporting.
• Lead opportunities end-to-end from prospecting to binding.
• Collaborate with underwriting to tailor parametric structures and pricing.
• Represent the company at renewals and market events.
