Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company seeks an AVP, P&C Actuarial Modeling to lead strategic pricing initiatives and advance analytic capabilities. You will mentor a team, oversee actuarial models and pricing tools, and collaborate across Strategic Pricing, Enterprise Analytics, and external partners.

You should have FCAS designation, 10+ years in pricing/actuarial with 5+ years of management, and strong communication skills to influence stakeholders. Remote work within the U.S. is supported.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in actuarial science, business, finance, mathematics, economics, or related field.
• FCAS designation preferred or equivalent.
• Typically ten or more years related experience (pricing, actuarial, product) with at least five years in management.

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial & technical leadership to drive pricing outcomes across multiple lines.
• Collaborate with Strategic Pricing, Enterprise Analytics and external partners on strategic initiatives.
• Oversee development and maintenance of actuarial models and pricing tools; ensure data-driven pricing decisions.
