Job summary

Breakthrough T1D is seeking an AVP, Leadership Giving to lead a 3–5 person team and drive regional revenue growth. You will manage a personal portfolio of ~50 major gifts, including $1M+ opportunities, and shape strategy across gift types with VP support.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, monitor KPIs, and coach staff to ensure fundraising excellence in a national remote setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive fundraising experience with at least 5 years in major gift fundraising.
• Minimum 3 years directly managing a major gift fundraising team.
• CFRE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of 3–5 Leadership Gift Officers with revenue targets and development plans.
• Own all 1M+ strategy decisions for the team and co-lead strategy on principal gifts.
• Manage a personal portfolio of ~50 accounts with $1M–$5M+ capacity.
• Facilitate prospect strategy meetings and use CRM analytics to identify pipeline gaps.
• Collaborate with Territory Executives and chapter staff to steward leadership prospects.
• Develop individualized professional development plans and mentoring relationships.
• Ensure use of Leadership Giving Playbook and maintain CRM health.
