National Multiple Sclerosis Society seeks an Assistant Vice President of Foundation Relations to build and lead a high-performing national team. This role focuses on developing a best-in-class foundation fundraising mechanism, including strategy, processes, guidelines, tools, and resources to grow foundation support.

The AVP will strengthen existing relationships, pursue new foundations aligned with our mission, and drive efficient grant management.

Qualificações

• 8 years of fundraising experience with 6 years in leadership.
• Proven track record in campaign planning and revenue growth across multiple markets.
• Experience coaching staff toward higher fundraising performance.
• Experience managing budgets and monitoring targets.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
• Advanced CRM and data analytics skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a national Foundation Relations team to drive engagement, grant management, and donor stewardship.
• Oversee proposals, submission tracking, reporting, and compliance processes.
• Manage a portfolio of foundations and government funders.
• Develop and execute acquisition strategies to expand the funding base.
• Align fundraising strategies with organizational priorities and mission goals.
• Collaborate across functions to create opportunities aligned with strategic plan and funding pillars.
• Implement best practices and tools to streamline grant workflows and improve data reporting.
• Provide guidance on foundation grant requirements and reporting standards.
• Use data analytics to identify funding trends and opportunities.
• Represent the organization in foundation networks and industry events.
• Prepare leadership with regular fundraising performance analyses.
