Job summary

Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd. is seeking an AVP, Financial Close Leader to direct enterprise-wide financial processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and data-driven operations across regions.

The role oversees the Finance Strategic Management system and the annual audit plan, coordinating with external auditors and the audit committee. The position is based remotely and reports to the VP, Strategic Projects-Finance, with responsibilities spanning governance, monthly reporting for audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting preferred.
• 7+ years of professional experience in insurance or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of (re)insurance or other financial markets.
• Knowledge of audit processes and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate enterprise-wide financial processes for consistency and efficiency.
• Manage the Finance Strategic Management System and align with audit plans.
• Lead communications, executive presentations, and monthly audit/board reports.
• Coordinate with PwC and internal management to support audit activities.
• Provide content development for finance-wide engagements and leadership meetings.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics and other Finance teams on process improvements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting preferred
