Humana Inc. is seeking an experienced AVP of Clinical Program and Product Strategy to define and execute a transformative vision.

You will translate clinical priorities into pilots, launch them with rigor, and scale successful programs across the enterprise, collaborating with analytics, engineering, design, and clinical teams to improve health outcomes and reduce costs. The role requires navigating ambiguity, aligning diverse stakeholders, and delivering measurable impact in a highly matrixed

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• 10+ years of strategy and operations development and implementation experience for healthcare-related organizations.
• Clinical operations experience and expertise, including how care is delivered across payers and providers.
• Product experience managing multidisciplinary teams to build and scale programs or products.
• Strong business and/or consulting experience.
• Solid business and financial acumen.
• Experience with analytics and use of data.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to execute on complex projects.
• Process improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise-wide clinical strategy and lead a team developing and executing on enterprise-wide clinical strategies that improve health outcomes.
• Lead clinical program and product design, implementation, and scaling from concept to launch and scaling.
• Oversee digital health partnerships, Stars clinical strategies, and high-cost specialties portfolio to deliver value.
• Evolve integrated clinical products to meet member needs and improve outcomes and costs.
• Lead and collaborate with partner teams across the enterprise to align goals.
• Work with business leaders, clinicians, analytics, engineering, and design toward common goals.
• Influence senior decision-makers to improve health, lower costs, and enhance member experience.
• Exercise independent judgment on complex issues and bring others along.
