Job summary

CS Group USA is seeking an Avionics Hardware Architect to lead the architecture, design, and certification of safety-critical avionics hardware for aerospace systems. You will define end-to-end hardware solutions from requirements through certification while collaborating with systems and software teams.

The role offers onsite (CT), hybrid, or remote work options with travel as needed. The candidate will drive DO-254 activities and mentor engineering teams across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience with DO-254 certification programs.
  • Experience architecting complex avionics hardware systems throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end avionics hardware systems from concept through certification and production.
  • Collaborate across systems, hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.
  • Lead airborne electronic hardware development activities in compliance with DO-254.
  • Support certification audits and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Define interfacing between Hardware and FPGA; establish hardware/software interfaces.
