CS Group US seeks an Avionics Hardware Architect to lead architecture, design and DO-254 certification of safety-critical avionics hardware. You will define end-to-end hardware solutions, collaborate with systems and software teams, and drive requirements traceability and verification for certification readiness.

The role can be onsite in Connecticut, or hybrid/remote, supporting programs across the government and aerospace sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 12+ years of hands-on avionics hardware development experience.
• Extensive DO-254 certification program experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end avionics hardware systems from concept through certification.
• Collaborate across systems, hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.
• Lead airborne hardware development activities in compliance with DO-254.
• Support certification audits and regulatory activities.
• Define interfacing between hardware, FPGA, and software.
