CS Group USA is seeking an Embedded Systems Expert to lead architecture and certification of safety-critical airborne systems. The role demands deep DO-178C expertise, extensive RTES/RTOS experience, and a track record of guiding products from concept through certification.

The position supports architecture reviews, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on development of safety-critical embedded software, with travel of two to six weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on embedded software development.
• Experience with DO-178C certification programs.
• Strong understanding of RTES and RTOS environments.
• Proven ability to lead architecture through certification.
• Excellent communication and leadership in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end avionics software systems from concept through certification.
• Collaborate across systems, hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.
• Lead development of safety-critical embedded software in DO-178C.
• Support certification audits and regulatory compliance activities.
• Define and allocate system and software requirements.
• Design and implement RTES/RTOS-based solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews and trade studies.
• Drive verification planning and validation activities.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.
