CS Group US is seeking an Embedded Systems Expert to lead avionics software development from concept to certification. The role emphasizes DO-178C compliance, RTES/RTOS proficiency, and technical leadership across the full product lifecycle.

Location options include onsite in CT, hybrid, or fully remote, with international and national collaboration as needed. Strong communication and leadership are essential for guiding teams through certification milestones.

Qualifications

DO-178C certification experience is required.
Extensive hands-on embedded software development.
Strong understanding of RTES/RTOS and safety-critical development.
Experience across requirements, architecture, verification and certification.

Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end avionics software systems from concept through certification.
Collaborate across systems, hardware, software, verification and certification teams.
Lead development of safety-critical embedded software in accordance with DO-178C.
Support certification audits and regulatory compliance activities.
Define and allocate system and software requirements.
Design and implement RTES/RTOS-based solutions.
Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments and trade studies.
Drive requirements traceability and validation planning; mentor teams.
