Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking an experienced System Engineer (Aerospace/Avionics) to lead system requirements, architecture, and design for airborne electronics systems in the Washington state area. The role involves cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, test, and certification teams to drive successful program execution.

You will perform requirements analysis, traceability, and validation, while supporting ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, and DO-160 certifications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of aerospace, avionics, or safety-critical systems engineering.
• Experience with ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160.
• Familiar with system requirements management and lifecycle processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage system requirements, architecture, and design for avionics/aerospace products.
• Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, traceability, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, test, and certification teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support compliance activities related to ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, and DO-160 standards.
• Define and execute system integration, verification, and validation plans.
• Conduct system-level testing and support qualification/certification efforts.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation, including requirements specifications, interface control documents, verification procedures, and certification artifacts.
• Perform technical risk assessments and support issue resolution during development and testing phases.
• Work closely with customers, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful program execution.
