Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Aviation Safety Manager to lead and optimize their Safety Management System from anywhere. You will drive regulatory compliance, risk assessments, and incident investigations while fostering a proactive safety culture across global teams.

The role requires 7+ years in aviation safety management, a deep understanding of ICAO/EASA/FAA rules, and excellent communication skills for remote collaboration. Safety certifications are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Safety Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years in aviation safety management.
• Knowledge of ICAO, EASA, FAA regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration experience.
• Safety certifications such as ISBAO or IOSA are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the Safety Management System (SMS) per regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits of procedures.
• Investigate safety incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs across departments.
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote safety awareness and continuous improvement.
