Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Aviation Project Manager to lead complex aviation initiatives from anywhere in the world, with duties spanning aircraft modifications to system integrations. You will manage cross-functional teams, maintain project scope, budget, and timelines, and act as the main liaison for stakeholders in a remote-first setting.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in aviation project management, PMP or equivalent, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of aviation regulations

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive project management experience in aviation/aerospace.
Proven ability to manage complex projects from initiation to closure.
Remote team leadership and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resources and budgets.
Monitor execution, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Lead virtual project teams and ensure clear cross-disciplinary communication.
Serve as liaison between client, engineering, suppliers and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards and quality.
Present regular status reports to senior management.
