Job summary

Ardurra is seeking an Aviation Project Engineer to join the Aviation Group in Boise ID and surrounding areas. The role requires a PE license or EIT, with travel willing to support airport projects across the region.

Remote work is possible for qualified candidates who reside in Idaho or Washington. The successful candidate will lead airfield civil design efforts, mentor EITs, and coordinate with owners and subconsultants to ensure project success from inception through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 5+ years experience in airport consulting/engineering.
• Professional Engineer license preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of FAA advisory circulars related to airport design and FAA grant process.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Act as design lead for airfield civil construction projects with EITs and project team members.
• Oversee and mentor EITs in grading, pavement, marking design and airport construction safety and phasing plans.
• Coordinate with owners, internal staff, and subconsultants through project life cycle.
• Present design concepts and solutions during client reviews.
• Lead design during bidding and participate in construction inspection as needed.
