Job summary

Ardurra is seeking an experienced Aviation Project Engineer to join our Aviation Group. The role offers fully remote work for candidates in Montana or Idaho with required PE/EIT credentials and strong FAA knowledge.

You will lead airfield design efforts, supervise EITs, coordinate with owners and subconsultants, and present concepts to clients during reviews, while traveling as needed and advancing impactful aviation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering.
• 5+ years minimum experience in airport consulting/engineering.
• Professional Engineer license strongly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Act as design lead for airfield civil construction projects with EITs.
• Oversee and mentor EITs in grading, pavement, marking, and safety plans.
• Coordinate with owners, internal staff and subconsultants throughout the project life cycle.
• Present design concepts, alternatives, and solutions during client reviews.
• Act as design lead during bidding.
• Participate in construction inspection and oversight.
