Job summary

Ardurra seeks an experienced Aviation Project Engineer to join our Aviation Group in Boise, ID and surrounding areas. A PE license or EIT is required, with remote work possible for Idaho/Washington residents.

You will lead airfield civil design, mentor EITs, coordinate with clients and subconsultants, and oversee construction inspection and bidding processes throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering.
• 5 years minimum experience in airport consulting/engineering.
• Professional Engineer License strongly preferred, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of FAA advisory circulars for airport design and FAA grant process.
• Strong communication skills.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Act as design lead for airfield civil construction projects with EITs and team.
• Oversee and mentor EITs in grading, pavement, marking, and airport design.
• Coordinate with owners, staff, and subconsultants throughout the project life cycle.
• Present design concepts and solutions during client reviews.
• Lead the bidding process design reviews and coordination.
• Participate in construction inspection and oversight as required.
