Job summary

Ardurra is seeking an experienced Aviation Project Engineer to join our Aviation Group. The role offers the chance to work on impactful aviation projects with flexible arrangements. A current PE license or EIT is required, and candidates must reside in Montana or Idaho.

This is a fully-remote opportunity with a focus on airfield civil design and FAA processes. Required: Civil engineering degree and 5+ years in airport consulting/engineering, strong communication, and proficiency with AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
• 5+ years in airport consulting/engineering.
• Professional Engineer license preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of FAA advisory circulars and FAA grant process.
• Strong communication skills and ability to travel.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Act as design lead for airfield civil construction projects with EITs and team members.
• Mentor EITs in grading, pavement, marking, and airport design.
• Coordinate with owners, staff, and subconsultants through project life cycle.
• Present design concepts and alternatives at client reviews.
• Lead design during bidding and inspections as technical lead.
