Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Junior FAA Aviation Data Analyst to support aviation data analysis, reporting, and strategic planning. This remote role requires up to 10% travel and may involve business process improvements within the BNATCS RSR Program.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree with 2–5 years of related experience or a Master’s with at least 1 year, proficiency in Tableau/Excel, and the ability to present technical briefings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 2–5 years related experience, or Master’s with 1+ year experience.
• Proficiency in aviation data analysis tools and software (Tableau, Excel or similar).
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations, national security protocols and industry best practices preferred.
• Experience developing and presenting technical briefings to stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to conduct Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and lead process improvements.
• US Citizenship and FAA Suitability: able to obtain FAA public trust and resume approval.

Responsibilities

• Review aviation information to inform decisions on flight routes, spending, efficiency, safety, and regulations; use data to predict and estimate aviation-related outcomes.
• Perform operational analysis and develop concepts of operations; analyze architecture and system design, and implementation plans.
• Conduct data-driven assessments including alternatives when projects delay; identify opportunities for new technology insertions.
• Provide technical assistance in strategic planning, research and development, operations research, and briefing development support.
• Prepare and develop various documents and briefings; support Business Process Re-engineering efforts.
