Objective Area Solutions is actively seeking a Senior Computer Analyst to support the FAA Database Program. The role emphasizes software engineering, geospatial data management, and modern cloud-native architecture to drive NAS data initiatives.

The successful candidate will lead design and development across GIS-enabled systems, APIs, and secure solutions while applying Agile/Scrum practices and DevSecOps in a remote-friendly environment within the Washington DC metro area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with SDLC processes and GIS/data-intensive apps.
• API-first architecture and web service development.
• Real-time data processing and distribution systems.
• Cloud-native development with containerized architectures.
• Secure coding and application security practices.
• Agile/Scrum methods and product backlog refinement.
• Software version control and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain FAA airport data applications and modules.
• Support geospatial platform modernization and data integration.
• Develop automated data validation, processing, and QA frameworks.
• Design data distribution architectures for web apps, APIs, and services.
• Enable GIS, airport mapping, geospatial analytics, and NAVAID integration.
• Support ALP tech implementations and geospatial modernization.
• Work in Cloud environment with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Produce technical documentation and support UAT activities.
