Job summary

Kinly is seeking a Presales Consultant to join its Consultancy team as a remote, US-based engineer. You will architect AV, endpoint and infrastructure solutions, craft BOM and SoW, and provide engineering support to the sales process.

The role requires deep pre-sales experience in video conferencing, AV hardware and software, and the ability to communicate complex technical details to clients with clarity. You will collaborate with clients, architects and staff through design, build and

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a pre-sales engineering role.
• Technical certifications in the Audio Visual industry (InfoComm CTS, Advanced CTS-D desirable).
• Experience with Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
• Proficiency with diagram tools like AutoCAD or Visio.
• Knowledge of video network infrastructure commissioning and support.
• Understanding of video and audio conferencing service standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to the sales team in a thorough, timely manner.
• Interface with clients and job sites to document requirements.
• Work with clients, architects and staff through design development and delivery.
• Provide and document customer design based on requirements and site conditions.
• Influence internal and external customers to achieve mutual outcomes.
• Understand customer pain points and coordinate resolutions with the team.
• Develop BOM and SOW for each job from system design.
• Develop system design drawings and AV/VC narratives.
• Develop accurate job cost estimates for each job.
• Provide technical responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
