Job summary

Waveguide seeks an Associate AV Designer to contribute to audiovisual project delivery and grow technical design skills under supervision. You will complete tasks, support drawings, and ensure quality within schedule.

You will develop AV design portions, apply templates and standards, and participate in reviews while expanding knowledge of AV systems, documentation, and project delivery processes.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related professional experience in building engineering and design.
• Two-year technical degree (AS Engineering Technology) or higher.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit preferred (not required).
• AVIXA CTS certification preferred or commitment to achieve within 12 months.
• General understanding of commercial and institutional AV tech and AE design documentation.
• 90+% remote work anticipated; travel <10% for training/site reviews.
