Job summary
BD Diesel Performance seeks an experienced Technical Support Representative to deliver world-class sales support, helping customers choose the right parts and resolve installation challenges. You will work closely with Sales and Engineering to relay customer feedback and improve products, with a focus on gas transmission knowledge.
This full-time, remote role reports to the Technical Service Supervisor, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications
- Gas transmission experience is required.
- 2 years customer-facing service experience preferred.
- ASE Automotive Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain product and service knowledge.
- Assist customers with automotive sales questions about products, installations and service support.
- Serve as the Technical Expert for customers and the sales team.
- Relay customer feedback to engineering and identify product improvement trends.
- Provide customers with in-depth information regarding equipment and parts for sale.
- Champion the customer in the RMA process.
- Resolve customer complaints via phone or email.
- Support the sales team with technical knowledge.
