Job summary

BD Diesel Performance is seeking a Technical Support Representative to deliver world-class sales support, help customers select parts, and provide installation guidance. This role focuses on automotive transmissions knowledge, especially gas transmissions, to maximize vehicle performance.

Reporting to the Technical Service Supervisor, the position operates 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST, Monday–Friday, with remote work options.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Vehicle maintenance experience is required; gas transmission knowledge preferred.
• 2 years of customer-facing service experience preferred; ASE certification optional.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class sales support and help customers select parts and advise on installation.
• Act as technical expert for both customers and sales team.
• Relay customer feedback to engineering and sales to identify trends for product improvement.
• Provide customers with in-depth information regarding equipment and parts for sale.
• Support the sales team with technical knowledge and customer support as needed.

BD Diesel is looking for an experiencedTechnical Support Representativewho is accountable for providing world class sales support to BD customers necessary to continuously improve the creation and delivery of value to our customers. As a valuable member of the BD Diesel team, this position helps customers problem solve, select the right parts and provide insight on installation challenges. This role helps our customers and their vehicles reach their full potential by providing detailed knowledge combined with excellent customer service. We are seeking candidates with extensive knowledge of automotive transmissions, specifically gas transmissions.

This position reports to the Technical Service Supervisor and works 8:00AM to 5:00PM PST, Monday to Friday.

As a Technical Support Representative, your role includes:

• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
• Assist customers with automotive related sales questions related to products, installations and service support
• Function as the Technical Expert for both customers and sales team member
• Working with both the Sales Team and Engineering Team, relay customer feedback and identify trends allowing for product improvement/modification as required
• Provide customers with in-depth information regarding equipment & parts for sale
• Champion the customer as an advocate throughout the RMA process
• Work to resolve customer complaints in person, via telephone or email
• Support the sales team where required in the areas of technical knowledge and customer support

Who You Are:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated vehicle maintenance experience, ASE Automotive Certification or equivalent preferred
• Vehicle maintenance experience is required. Emphasis on transmission experience, specifically gas transmissions.
• 2 years customer facing service experience preferred

• Paid Time Off - 80 hours accrued per year.
