Job summary

Axalta is seeking an Account Specialist, Automotive Refinish to manage high-value customers and drive long-term retention within a regional sales team. In this remote role with a TX-based presence (San Antonio preferred), you will develop account plans, communicate product value, and coordinate with internal resources to meet customer needs while traveling up to 50% when required.

You will document interactions in SFDC, support SOPs, and contribute to revenue and profitability goals with urgency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in Automotive Refinish.
• Strong knowledge of collision repair and distribution fundamentals.
• Experience with Axalta products and repair shop basics.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for identified customers and build relationships.
• Understand elements of the business agreement with each customer.
• Develop and execute account plans for product, color, and services needs.
• Communicate Axalta product values clearly to customers.
• Engage resources to meet customer needs.
• Document customer interactions in SFDC with organized communication.
• Prioritize tasks to support revenue, profitability, retention, and distributor management.
• Support SOPs and Axalta Training Classes and Local Performance Groups.
• Lead paint conversion efforts and solicit distribution resources.
• Maintain accurate account information in SFDC.
• Use SharePoint, Salesforce, MS Office to improve productivity.
