Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Automotive Data Analyst and Fleet Management Specialist to analyze large datasets from telematics, maintenance, and fuel systems. You will develop dashboards to track fleet performance and provide actionable recommendations on cost reduction, maintenance, and lifecycle management.

The role requires 5+ years in data analysis within automotive or fleet contexts, strong SQL/Excel, and proficiency with Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in automotive or fleet management.
Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python or R, Tableau and Power BI.
Solid knowledge of fleet management, vehicle maintenance, and operational logistics.
Experience with telematics data and fleet management software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from telematics, maintenance logs, and fuel systems.
Develop dashboards and reports to visualize fleet performance metrics.
Monitor fleet utilization, fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, and driver behavior.
Collaborate with fleet managers to implement data-driven strategies for cost reduction.
Develop predictive models for maintenance needs and lifecycle management.
Ensure data integrity across reporting and analytics functions.
Stay current with fleet management tech and data analytics trends.
Present findings to senior management.
