Job summary

TriCore’s Support Engineer role provides remote technical assistance to help customers maintain reliable production and data reporting systems. You will troubleshoot issues, apply defined procedures, and document resolutions for visibility across teams.

The successful candidate will develop proficiency with TriCore’s automation technologies, follow safety and change-control processes, and communicate effectively while taking ownership of support work through to resolution during 12-hour night

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with demonstrated success in engineering or automation environments.
• Entry-level through ~5 years of experience, with potential to develop technical proficiency and operate with increasing independence over time.
• Foundational knowledge in electrical design, PLC ladder logic, HMI configuration, programming, electrical principles, and industrial troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot customer-reported issues by reviewing system information and identifying next steps.
• Apply TriCore standards and procedures to develop support solutions with sound engineering judgment.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members throughout the support process.
• Document troubleshooting steps, findings, and resolutions for accurate records.
