Job summary

Bruker Chemspeed is seeking an Automation Chemist for a remote, field-based role in the mid-central region. The role involves preparing and executing chemical tests on automated workstations, delivering demos, and providing global customer support. Travel up to 80% is required, with ideal locations in IL, IN, MI, OH, and WI.

• B.S. in Chemistry is required.
• Minimum 3 years of on-site lab work with instrumentation.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows and networking.
• Excellent customer focus and communication with international client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, transfer, and execute workflows and chemical tests on automated workstations.
• Present innovative workflow solutions during demos and tests.
• Provide troubleshooting and application support for customers worldwide (remote assistance included).
• Help develop solutions with new ideas.
• Install automated lab solutions at customer sites, train users and provide support.
