Job summary

Bruker is seeking an Automation Chemist for a remote/field position centered in the mid-central US or greater Boston area. Travel up to 80% and support for global customers are key aspects of the role.

The role involves preparing and validating automated workflows, performing chemical tests, and assisting with installation and customer training on Bruker/Chemspeed systems. A B.S. in Chemistry and 3+ years of lab experience are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry or related field with on-site lab work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of extensive lab experience with instrumentation.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and interact with international customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, transfer, and execute workflows and chemical tests on automated workstations.
• Present workflow solutions during demos and tests with enthusiasm.
• Provide troubleshooting and application support for customers worldwide.
• Assist in developing solutions with innovative ideas and install at customer sites.
