Sistema Technologies, Inc. is a Texas-based IT staffing and IT delivery firm delivering services to state and local agencies. We are seeking an Automation & AI Developer for a 10-month remote contract in Austin, TX.

The role requires designing, developing, and supporting automation solutions with Python and .NET, APIs, and AI-assisted development. Responsibilities include building workflows, integrating enterprise systems, and collaborating with business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience developing software using Python and .NET technologies.
• 8 years of experience integrating systems with enterprise applications and APIs.
• 5 years of experience re-engineering manual workflows into automated workflow systems.
• 5 years of experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders on technical solution evaluation or adoption.
• 3 years of experience developing workflows using tools such as Power Automate.
• 2 years of experience developing and optimizing prompts, instructions, and grounding strategies for AI systems.
• 2 years of experience using AI-assisted development practices, including prompt-driven programming and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document, and support automation solutions to improve processes.
• Develop workflow automations and custom applications; troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and integrate enterprise systems.
• Build and consume APIs; work with Docker/Nomad containerized apps and Power Platform tools.
