Job summary

Peak Performers, in partnership with a Texas State Agency, seeks a remote Senior Automation Engineer to design, develop, test, document, and support automation solutions that improve processes, integrate systems, and reduce manual effort. You will apply AI-assisted development, build workflows with Power Automate, and collaborate with stakeholders while maintaining quality, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience developing software solutions using Python and .NET technologies.
• 8 years of experience integrating systems with enterprise applications and APIs.
• 5 years of experience re-engineering manual workflows into automated workflow systems.
• 5 years of experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders on technical solution evaluation and adoption.
• 3 years of experience developing workflows using Power Automate.
• 2 years of experience developing and optimizing prompts, instructions, and grounding strategies for AI systems.
• 2 years of experience using AI-assisted development practices, including prompt-driven programming and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document, and support automation solutions that improve business processes and reduce manual effort.
• Develop workflow automations and custom applications to integrate systems and streamline operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to maintain reliable automation solutions.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation for automation solutions and processes.
