Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to join the Software, Applications and Analytics Center of Excellence. The role focuses on building cloud-based analytics solutions for NOAA, employing WebDriverIO, Cypress, and AI-assisted test tooling to ensure high-quality, scalable automated tests in a remote, full-time setting.

You will work with a distributed team on backend services, microservices, and RESTful APIs, leveraging DevSecOps, AWS, Node.js, and Linux environments to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, CS or related discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or Python.
• Experience with WebDriverIO, Cypress or other E2E automation tools.
• Experience applying AI tooling to automated test scripts.
• Experience in large-scale software testing and verification.

Responsibilities

• Use automated test tools to create and enhance automated test suites for end-to-end system tests, regression tests, and acceptance tests.
• Perform 508 compliance testing with reporting using Allure or equivalent.
• Contribute to performance, scalability testing and backend automation across cloud-based solutions.
