Qualifications

• At least 5 years building automated test suites with Playwright/TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to translate user stories into test scenarios including negative cases.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a federal background.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor the Automated Test Team and identify risks early.
• Extend and maintain Playwright/Cucumber framework using Page Object Model.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for workflows and APIs.
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD and publish results.
• Plan AI-assisted testing and code review.
• Translate user stories into traceable test scenarios with risk-based prioritization.
• Partner with data engineers to validate ingestion, transformations, and migrations.
• Implement performance tests and coordinate with security checks.
• Maintain test data and diagnose failures with developers.
• Support UAT and accessibility verification with regression evidence.
• Report coverage and release risks; collaborate on unit coverage.
• Track defect rates and test posture improvements.
• Plan testing across envs and ensure environment readiness.
• Assist functional testing with business stakeholders and agile ceremonies.
