Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to join the Software, Applications and Analytics Center of Excellence. The successful candidate will build cloud-based analytics solutions for NOAA and contribute to backend services and APIs.

This is a remote, full-time position. You will develop and enhance automated test suites using WebDriverIO, Cypress, Axe and similar frameworks for end-to-end, regression, 508 and performance tests, collaborating with distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or Python.
• Experience with WebDriverIO, Cypress, or other E2E automation tools.
• Experience with AI tooling to enhance automated test scripts.
• Experience in a large-scale software testing and verification environment.
• Experience with 508 compliance automated testing using Axe, Cypress or similar with Allure.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a distributed team.
• Knowledge of Agile workflows and React-based web apps.
• Experience with microservices, cloud technologies, AWS and CI/CD.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for end-to-end and regression tests.
• Create acceptance tests and 508 compliance tests with reporting via Allure.
• Perform performance and scalability testing of microservices.
• Collaborate with distributed teams on cloud-based backend applications.
• Leverage AI tooling to enhance and maintain test scripts.
