Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage for a remote, nationwide role. You will analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims, ensuring documentation and coding accuracy while meeting deadlines.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (license where required) and strong communication, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. You may pursue subrogation, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with clients and insured parties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; state licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and settlements and negotiate claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and ensures files are documented and coded per policy.
• Develops action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities and secures salvage.
• Communicates claim action with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations; performs coverage and damage analysis on assignments.
• Travels as required and supports the organization’s quality programs.
