Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage, to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. You will assess damages, approve payments, and ensure proper documentation and coding of files.

The role requires strong communication and analytical skills and offers a comprehensive benefits package nationwide. The position is remote (telecommuter) with travel as needed; education requirements include a bachelor's degree and state license maintenance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• State adjusting licenses, as required by the position.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and codes files.
• Develops action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker when appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on claims.
