Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage. The role focuses on analyzing and processing auto and general liability property damage claims, maintaining documentation, and ensuring timely resolution.

You will also pursue subrogation opportunities and coordinate with insureds, clients, and brokers. The position requires a bachelor's degree, strong communication, and familiarity with property damage processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
• Analytical and interpretive skills; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and meet service expectations.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and ensures claim files are properly documented and coded.
• Develops and maintains action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim action/processing with insured, client, and agent or broker as appropriate.
• Travels as required and supports quality programs.
