Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage, to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. You will assess damage, issue payments, and ensure files are properly documented and coded per policy.

Ideal candidates review property damage estimates, pursue subrogation opportunities, and communicate with insured, clients, and brokers. This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies.
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and negotiate claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms.
• Excellent oral and written communication; presentation skills.
• PC literate including Microsoft Office products.
• Analytical and interpretive skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to meet or exceed service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and codes files per policy.
• Develops and maintains action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on claim assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned; supports quality programs; travels as required.
