First Acceptance Corporation is seeking an Auto Liability Specialist I to review, investigate, and settle low-complexity claims by phone and written correspondence. The role reports to either Tampa, FL or Nashville, TN, with the possibility to work remotely full time.

You will manage first and third-party claims, coordinate with appraisers, and support customers with professional service. A foundational understanding of policy coverage, liability, and subrogation opportunities is preferred,

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of property claims handling experience.
• Must have or obtain state adjuster license(s) and CE credits.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in business or related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient PC and Windows skills.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and investigate policy coverage, liability, and damages promptly.
• Assist customers by phone or written correspondence with high level of service.
• Maintain diary of open claims following company guidelines.
• Conduct thorough investigations including documents and statements.
• Review appraisals and work with appraisers to determine damages.
• Open and process correspondence related to claims.
• Identify subrogation recovery opportunities.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
