Job summary

You will learn company claim handling procedures, study policies, and develop negotiation skills while supporting agents, insureds, and third parties throughout the life cycle of a claim.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or direct equivalent experience with property/casualty claims handling is required.
• Ability to organize data, multi-task and make decisions independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication to prepare reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle entry-level insurance claims under supervision.
• Study policies, endorsements, and forms to build foundational knowledge of company products.
• Learn and comply with company claim handling procedures and training program requirements.
• Develop entry-level claim negotiation and settlement skills and interact with claimants and third parties.
