Job summary

Assurant is seeking a remote Claims Specialist to determine coverage and review vehicle service agreements across multiple product lines. The role requires strong automotive knowledge, customer service experience, and independent work in a home-office setting.

Training will be provided to equip you with necessary tools and policy understanding. Starting pay is $20.00–$23.00 per hour, with varied schedules including night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Automotive experience or training through college or program.
• 2 years of customer service and automotive experience.
• 2 years of experience using computers with multiple windows and applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve issues encountered by clients in a timely and positive manner.
• Ensure requests are responded to promptly with meaningful solutions.
• Adjust and document all claims within standards and regulations.
• Process claims with accuracy by reviewing tools and applications to resolve complex issues.
• Adjudicate claims with accuracy involving repair facilities and vendors.
• Document denial or authorization reasons per policy and obtain approvals when needed.
