Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking skilled collision repair technicians to examine damaged vehicles and plan efficient repairs at one of our many locations. You will work with a team to ensure high-quality results while meeting safety and cycle-time targets.

Responsibilities include coordinating repair status, performing quality repairs, and deciding on repair vs. replace options. A background check is required, and certification in body repair is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass thorough background check.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• I-CAR welding certification is a plus.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel and coordinate tasks.
• Knowledge of repair processes by vehicle manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, costs and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and components to access areas for repair.
• Attends safety meetings and follows procedures.
• Files, grinds and sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs an apprentice on tasks and procedures.
