Job summary

Crash Champions is hiring a skilled Body Repair Technician to assess damaged vehicles, plan repair processes, and lead repair activities with the team. You will ensure quality work while keeping to schedule, deciding between repair or replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time.

You may remove components to access areas and participate in safety meetings. The role requires familiarity with frame equipment, a body repair certification (preferred), and knowledge of vehicle repair processes

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• I-CAR welding certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and related parts to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces.
