Crash Champions is seeking an experienced collision repair technician to assess damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and collaborate with a team to maintain on-time delivery. The role involves disassembling components, applying high-quality repairs, and making safety-conscious decisions on repair versus replacement.

Candidates should have frame-machine experience, body repair certification, and the ability to lead or mentor others.

Qualifications

• Experience with frame machines and vehicle repair processes.
• I-CAR welding certification or equivalent.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate repair personnel.
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs while meeting timelines.
• Decides on repair vs. replace based on safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Disassembles/reassembles components to access areas.
• Attends safety meetings as required.
• Files/grinds/sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs an apprentice when needed and explains procedures.
