Strong knowledge of body repair processes and frame machines is required.

Qualifications

• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification held or pursued.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs with on-time focus.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety and cost.
• Directs an apprentice when needed and explains procedures.
