Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly experienced CPA to lead audit engagements for a fully remote, independent CPA and consulting firm with a 60-year track record. The role focuses on NFP audits, single audits, and uniform guidance compliance, with a strong emphasis on client relationships and advisory services.

The successful candidate will have CPA license, 5+ years public accounting, 3+ years NFP audit experience, and proven supervisory skills.

• 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience
• 3+ years experience auditing NFP organizations
• Experience with single audits
• Experience with uniform guidance compliance audits
• Highly evolved analytical and problem solving ability
• Proven supervisory and training success
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, rules and standards

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate multiple simultaneous client engagements, including resource allocation, scheduling, and workflow management across audit projects.
• Foster ongoing client relationships by proactively managing expectations, driving satisfaction, and championing organizational change initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted business advisor, delivering strategic recommendations on operational and process enhancements tailored to each client's needs.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on new business pursuits, including proposal development and growth strategy execution.
• Lead the professional growth of team members through hands‑on coaching, skills development, and structured performance evaluations.
