Job summary

Archesys is seeking a detail‑oriented Jira & Confluence Administrator / Systems Engineer to own, optimize, and scale our Atlassian ecosystem across Data Center and Cloud. You will configure advanced workflows, permission schemes, and automation to streamline operations.

This remote US role requires residency in the United States, no sponsorship, and collaboration with development and security teams to integrate identity providers, CI/CD pipelines, and marketplace apps while upholding governance

Qualifications

4–7 years of dedicated Jira/Confluence administration experience.
Deep mastery of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence (Data Center and Cloud).
Experience automating with ScriptRunner, REST APIs, Python, or Groovy.
Familiar with Linux, databases, and basic networking.
Experience with identity providers and SSO integrations.
Understanding of DevOps pipelines and integration with Git, Jenkins, GH.

Responsibilities

Administer and configure Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
Design workflows, permission schemes, and project templates.
Develop automations to reduce manual work and enforce compliance.
Integrate Atlassian tools with identity providers and CI/CD pipelines.
Manage marketplace apps and governance.
Provide Tier 2/3 support and write SOPs in Confluence.
